Cette chanson a été écrite par Syd Barrett, à propos d'une fille et de sa bicyclette. Vers la fin de la chanson, il lui offre de l'amener dans une chambre où on y joue des chansons.
Il l'a écrite pour sa petite amie Jenny Spires comme il l'avait deja fait sur Lucifer Sam.

Deuxième album : "A Saucerful of Secrets"
A saucerful of secrets pourrait se traduire par : "Une soucoupe pleine de secrets"

Cet album est sortie en Juin 1968
C'est le dernier album auquel Syd Barrett ait participé, bien qu'il y est très peu participé.
C'est un album de transition dans l?œuvre de Pink Floyd car l'influence créative de Barrett s'atténue avant de disparaître définitivement au profit de celle de Roger Waters. C'est ce dernier qui écrit la plupart de titres de l'album. On y découvre aussi ce qui va être la touche Pink Floyd pendant près de 10 années : une musique plus planante. On y découvre aussi les démons de Waters, comme sa haine de la chose militaire avec Corporal Clegg.

Cette chanson a été entièrement composée par Roger Waters.
Elle raconte le moment ou Dieu a créé l'Univers.
Le riff principal a de quoi rester dans la tête toute la journée!

La chanson, écrite et chantée par Richard Wright, a été enregistrée pendant leur 1er album avec Syd Barrett, son titre original était : "Sunshine"
L'atmosphère est plutot enfantin, joyeux, ce qui fait un contraste avec les autres titres de l'album.
C'est l'un des rares morceaux où David Gilmou et Syd Barrett jouent ensemble.

Si vous devez écouter une chanson dans cet album, c'est celle-la!
Elle est fabuleuse.
Elle a été écrite par Roger Waters à partir d'une poésie chinoise.
Cette composition a un caratère envoutant, et au fil du temps elle ne cessera de s'embellir.
